English and French native language specialist
Dear HR Manager,
My name is Arianne Farah.
I am a Canadian editor, translator and teacher.
I would like to relocate to Shanghai in December 2007 and for this reason am posting this cover letter and my c.v. for your perusal. I would be interested in either a full-time or a part-time position - even one that offers as little as a few hours a month. My one condition for employment is an invitation letter so that I can apply for a work visa.
I am a native speaker of both English and French and have 4 years teaching experience at the high school level.
I have been working as an English to French translator and editor since 2003.
I currently work as an editor in a multinational translation agency and, since December 2006, I have assumed the role of Manager for the editorial department.
Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to hearing from you,
Respectfully,
Arianne Farah, B.Sc., B.A.
