Bilingual writer with experience in journalism and marketing communications

As a marcomms consultant at an IT company, I conceptualise and execute all communications strategies. I have held a similar position at an entertainment company, but on a larger scale as I handled markets such as Germany, France, Hong Kong, Philippines and Singapore.

Aside from providng marcomms consulting, I am also doing freelance editorial writing and copywriting. I have been writing for magazines in Asia and the United Kingdom about topics ranging from interior design to travel, and have contributed to several books as well. On the other hand, I have done copywriting for clients ranging from multinationationals to small enterprises. With my marcomms experience, I often assist them in refining their communications approach and identifying key messages before embarking on projects. Such projects in turn help to enrich my knowledge of creative marketing communications and PR strategies.

With internships in advertising and film production, I believe I have a holistic view of the media industry that will enhance the value of my work. I have worked with multicultural teams and travelled around Asia and to Europe for work; I am fluent in oral and written Mandarin as well. I am based in Singapore and look forward to relocating for a suitable position.
