Nasdaq-listed Chinese-language search engine Baidu cut off its enterprise software division on July 12, 2006. The enterprise software division, which offer information search services to enterprises, is said to be poor in generating revenues. In an official statement from Baidu, the company said that its enterprise software service is not the core business, and that it has to spin off the division.
