1. GENERAL FUNCTION
Responsible for conducting and managing large on site project executions. Responsible for project installation/execution quality, costs and timescales and coordinates the dedicated on-site project team.

2. OBJECTIVES
-To guarantee compliance by the company with its contractual commitments and financial targets.
-To optimize project costs by improving working methods.

3. REPORTING
-Reports to the Managing Director or Manager of Projects.

5. DUTIES
Technical duties
-Leading a team of Engineers on site to conduct the project execution. Managing all site staff as well as the sub-contractor for both mechanical and electrical erection and commissioning works.
-Defining the execution project schedule including links and key dates for all the parties involved (design, purchases, works, commissioning, joint contracting parties and sub-contractors).
- Checking the validity of and approving all technical decisions made within the framework of the project.
- Participating in the selection of sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Technical monitoring and coordination of all on-site works.
- Managing non-compliance issues and proposing preventive and corrective measures.

Finance and administration
-Supplying information to draw up budget statements and, if necessary, monitoring collection of payments from the clients.
-Submitting all proposals to improve the margin on the project.
-Managing all on site claims over the project.
-Keeping informed on technical and regulatory changes

Management
-Directing and coordinating the dedicated site project team in compliance with the organization and the schedule
-Responsible for entire project execution/erection
External relations
-Technical and contractual interfacing with the client.
-If necessary, acting as the representative, technical manager and/or administrator where the joint contracting parties give this responsibility to the company.
-Interfacing with any partners and with suppliers for on-site execution issues.
Safety and working conditions
-Ensuring the application of contractual standards and regulations.
-Ensuring that safety rules are taken into account in both the design and works phases.

Quality
-Drawing up the quality assurance plan for the project.

6. REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
-Geographical mobility  

7. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Level of qualification
-Engineering graduate of a specialized or general school (civil engineering and environmental studies).
-Graduate of a specialized university

Career path desired for appointment to the position
-Five to ten years’ professional experience.
-In managing industrial facility construction contracts, preferably in the water treatment sector. (semiconductor/microelectronics field is preferred)
-In the field of site works and management.

8. SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Experience / skills
-Project management expertise
-Highly experienced in managing a team on site
-Thorough knowledge of engineering methods
-Thorough knowledge of contract management.
-Knowledge of water treatment processes.
-Fluent in English both oral and written
