Quality Director, Shanghai

Key Responsibilities
1) Responsibility for the whole QM organization with in total approx. ~45 employees
2) Analysis and optimization of production processes
3) Detection of error sources
4) Development / implementation of improvement strategies
5) Auditing
6) Product testing
7) Control of incoming goods
8) Consultation partner for technical department / sourcing and sales department with regard to the launch of new products
9) Technical support regarding feasibility studies
10) Permanent communication with headquarters
11) Development and training of staff

Requirement
1.Graduate in mechanical engineering
2.Basic commercial know-how
3.Several years of job-experience as Quality Manager in an internationally operating company
4.Ideally within an international brand (best case: metal-working) company
5.Analytical and being able to understand complex production processes
6.Hands-on / implementation and “getting things done” oriented
7.Communicative, convincing
8.Positive occurrence
9.Pushy-but in consideration of the local mentality
10.Passion and with a zero-error mentality; willing to “go the extra mile”
11.Self-dependent trouble shooting mentality
12.Success driven
13.Willing to travel both internationally and domestically within China
14.Fluent in English (written / oral); German and Chinese would be appreciated but is not a must
