One of the top ten forklift manufacturers is recruiting a purchasing manager in its Hangzhou site. Following is the list of responsibilities of the manager.

Job Responsibility
• Search suppliers of components and related industrial parts.
• Arrange a database of qualified suppliers, evaluate them, and monitor their performance on an ongoing way. Organize, conduct suppliers audits and review.
• Responsible for the on time stock supply of products.
• Enforce purchasing policies in line with the Headquarters practices.
• Conducts regular surveys on Chinese fasteners market.
• Reports all information to GM.
• The expats in China prefered

As a lean organization, it requires the daily hands-on leadership of the Purchasing Manager, who will also act as a member of the local management team. It implies that the candidate must be proactive, possess sound business acumen, a teamwork disposition and excellent analytical and communications skills.
