Start you own business in China?
Following the blog post on China jobs, I have some thoughts about the topic of starting a business in China, - self-employed.
All the world is looking for cheap and high quality products made in China. And you are in China, right? You may know about China much more than those that in the rest of the world, right? Does this create any business opportunities? Maybe yes. You can check the B2B sites to find product providers in China:
a) www.globalsources.com
b) www.alibaba.com
c) more is available at www.sinosites.com
You also can introduce a product, a service, or something else, which only your country has, to China. That should be special to Chinese with a great market prospect. Just imagine, China has the biggest population on the world. If only 10 million like what you introduce to them, what will be the result?

Well I started my own business in China a year ago (I’m a Chinese Canadian btw), I can share my experience with people who are starting out.
but generally just few things you need to know
1. Companies have to have high taxes, and because of that many companies dont like to issue receipts. So if you dont need receipt you can use that as your bargain chip.
2. Never buy something at the first prices given, they will always over state the price.
if anyone wants to know more about doing business in China let me know! I’m bored as hell here, I need some international interaction!! unity.asia@gmail.com
